Our client based in Altrincham is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper / Accountant on a permanent basis...
You will have the opportunity to utilize your XERO accountancy software skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Record sales, purchase and bank transactions
- Reconciliation of bank and company credit cards
- Process purchase ledger invoices
- Prepare sales invoices
- Credit control
- Reconcile time sheets for payroll purposes
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Assist the directors to prepare monthly management accounts
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of XERO accountancy software
- 3 years + experience
- Prior employment as a bookkeeper / accountant
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Salary £35,000 - £40, 000
Happy to consider full or part-time hours
(Full-time 37.5hrs per week / Part Time either 3 full days or 5 part days)
Location: Altrincham (Office based)
