Max DuerrCSR, grammar school, Hale, Halecroft, Recruitment, work experience...
Following on from our last blog post, we have continued our mission to carry out as much CSR as possible by taking on a local Altrincham Grammar School for Boys pupil, Max Duerr for his Work Experience. Here is Max in his own words, describing the week he has had at Halecroft Recruitment:
“I am a pupil at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys and just about to go into year 11 to do my GCSE’s. So, I have just finished Year 10 and the school gave me the opportunity to do Work Experience. I am not too sure what I want to do when I finish school so this was a good opportunity to see the world of work to help me decide what I want to do. I spoke to my mum and she knows Tricia so she arranged this placement for me.
During my time here I was set tasks such as searching for new companies to help Halecroft with recruiting candidates and doing general work around the office. The atmosphere of the office is very friendly and a very good location, being 5 minute’s walk away from my house.
This was a very useful experience for me as it gives me an insight into the world from an early age and may potentially even help me decide what I would like to do for a career.
I would like to thank Tricia, Kim and Ben for making me feel welcome and being friendly and overall making my experience at Halecroft Recruitment enjoyable.”
Thanks, Max! We’ve really enjoyed him having him in the office and believe that he is set for a bright future, in recruitment or whichever industry he chooses!
